An album of freshly produced songs, recorded a bit here, a bit there, everywhere and in the middle of nowhere, with final mixing and tracking just completed in December, 2022. Songs date all the way back to teenage years to present day.

In September of 2018, B. Horton and A. Siemers rendezvoused in Portland, Oregon with the intention of making the next Gardes album. They began tracking anew, including stacking tracks on some demos recorded over the past couple years and even digging up some further from the past.

It wasn't completed, but tracking continued, off and on, virtually and in person, the world shut down, slowly opened, and finally they scraped together the pieces and got it all ready to drop the album, now named Shards of the Gardes.

Featuring debut appearances as well as alumni, this is an album of old and new songs alike, with brand new and never-before-released recordings, to add to the Gardes songbook.
